The Grand Casino is a significant contributor to the Dunedin and Otago Community through both the Dunedin Casinos Charitable Trust and the Marketing Department directly.
The Grand Casino fund a number of charity and not-for-profit initiatives each year. In 2021/22 the Grand Casino contributed to Wildlife Hospital Dunedin, Orokonui Ecosanctuary, The Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand and Blue September, Foster Hope Otago, The Breast Cancer Foundation of New Zealand and Pink Ribbon, Otago Cricket, and Otago Nuggets.
